Say goodbye to one more password. Universally now lets you sign in with your Google account, and it’s fast, it’s simple, and it’s live right now.
Here’s what changed on your end: the login page now shows a Continue with Google button.
Plus, you can also sign up for Universally using your Google account. The register page shows a Sign up with Google option.
That’s it. One click, and you’re in. Let’s dive into the details.
Use Your Google Account to Sign In
Every password you drop is one less thing to forget, reuse, or lose to a leak somewhere else.
Sign in with Google, and your account inherits Google’s own security, its 2-step verification, its login alerts, stacked right on top of what Universally already gives you.
It’s faster too. Skip the “forgot password” email. Skip digging through your password manager mid-task. Just click the account you’re already signed into and go.
So if you’re getting started with Universally, you will see an option to Sign up with Google. Go ahead and click this button to create a new Universally account just using your Google account.

Similarly, when you head to the login page on Universally, you’ll now see a Continue with Google button.
Simply click it to log in using your Google account.

Now you might be wondering if you already have a password account, what will happen? Worried this might fracture your account into two?
It won’t. Universally has you covered.
If your Google account shares an email with your existing Universally login, Google sign-in links the two instantly.
Same workspaces. Same projects. Same everything. Your password still works, too, whenever you want to use it.
Plus, two-factor authentication isn’t going anywhere.
Enroll your second factor, and Google sign-in will still ask for it every time. Google sign-in gives you a new front door, not a bypass around your account’s security.
That said, the new Google account sign-in option is now live!
And this is only the beginning. More sign-in options are on the way, so if Google isn’t your account of choice, stay tuned.
Get started with Universally for free, no credit card required! Just use your Google account to sign up today.
